A Carteret County fisherman pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to charges related to the illegal harvest and sale of 3,000 pounds of Atlantic striped bass in federal waters in 2010.Dewey W. Willis Jr., 39, of Newport entered the guilty plea in federal court in Wilmington.
