A Jacksonville convicted felon accused of beating a dog has been arrested.Kevin Devon Scott, 44, of Myrtlewood Circle in Jacksonville, was charged Feb. 12 by Onslow County Animal Control with felony cruelty to animals.Scott is accused of beating a brown and white pit bull mix by beating the dog with a cable and a shovel on Feb. 9, according to warrants.He was placed under $7,500 bond and has since bonded out of jail, according to VineLink.Scott is scheduled to [...]
