A Hubert woman has been accused of hitting a man with a hammer.Susan Kay Haskett, 50, of Queens Creek Road in Hubert was arrested Dec. 16 by the Onslow County Sheriff's Office and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.Haskett is accused of hitting a man with a hammer causing serious injury on Dec. 15, according to warrants.Haskett had her first appearance in Onslow County District Court Monday and told the court she would hire her own [...]
