Sean James Thompson, 29, of Pike Road in Southport, was arrested March 2 by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with assault by strangulation.Thomson is accused of strangling victim with his hands causing difficulty breathing, losing consciousness and visible red marks, according to warrants.Bond was not immediately set.
