The Jacksonville Police Department responded to a report of gun shots being fired at the Jacksonville Mall Friday afternoon.At approximately 2:24 p.m. JPD responded to a report of shots being fired in the parking lot of the Jacksonville Mall near Belk and J.C. Penny on Western Boulevard, according to Public Affairs Coordinator Beth Purcell.
