The Onslow County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon in Hubert.At least one officer was involved during the shooting on Zachary Lane in Hubert. The officer was not injured but no other injuries have been reported at this time, according to Col. Chris Thomas.“We have had a shooting, but there are no ongoing threats to the public, and we just started the investigation into it,” added Thomas.
