A Swansboro felon is accused of escaping from the local jail by faking a medical emergency.Mackenzie Blake O’Neil, 24, of Golden Leaf Road in Swansboro, was arrested on Oct. 6 by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with misdemeanor escape from a local jail.O’Neil was being held in Onslow County Jail for probation violations, according to OCSO Col.
