A Jacksonville man is accused of assaulting a law enforcement officer.Cody Moore, 29, of Big Branch Lane in Jacksonville, was arrested on Aug. 29 by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer with serious injury.Moore is accused of assaulting an OCSO deputy, strangling her with his forearm to the point of causing redness and restricting her ability to breath, according to warrants.
