The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating reports of shots fired along Gum Branch Road early Wednesday morning.According to Beth Purcell, public affairs coordinator for Jacksonville Public Safety, a call came in about 2 a.m. Wednesday.A shots fired investigation is underway, she wrote in an email to The Daily News.
