An early-morning fire at the Red Carpet Inn affected one room on the fourth floor of the building, officials said.In a Friday morning press release Jacksonville Fire and Emergency Services wrote they responded to a commercial structure fire at the inn, located at 701 N. Marine Blvd. in Jacksonville, at 7:10 a.m.The building was evacuated and the fire "was limited to one of the hotel rooms on the fourth floor," JFES Assistant Chief Shaun Hayes is quoted as saying in the release.
