A woman accused of killing a former Onslow County Sheriff's Office deputy is not eligible for the death penalty.Caitlin Ridgeway, 19, will be tried in a non-capital case following her Rule 24 hearing Wednesday. Ridgeway is being represented by attorney Paul Castle.
