A convicted felon has been charged with killing a pit bull.Larry Eugene Rhodes ll, 33, of Piney Green Road in Jacksonville was arrested by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office on July 12 and charged with killing an animal by starvation and cruelty to animals.Rhodes is accused of allowing a “chain to become so constricted that the animal, a tan and white, female pit bull was unable to obtain water,” according to warrants.Rhodes’ arrest warrant [...]
