A motorcycle rider was seriously injured Thursday evening in a one-vehicle crash in Jacksonville.Jeffrey L. Lane Jr., 21, of Dudley was driving westbound on the U.S. 17 bypass before the Sewell bridge when he lost control of the 2007 Yamaha motorcycle and collided with a cable barrier in the center median, said Capt. Ashley Weaver with Jacksonville Police Department.Lane was taken to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and is critical but stable condition, she said. [...]
