A police pursuit that started in Carteret County ended in Onslow County with an arrest of a Hubert man.William David Haigh, 37, of Charcoal Court in Hubert was arrested Jan. 24 by the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office after leading authorities on a 15-minute car chase that started around 3 p.m. on Morristown Road in Stella when officers attempted to pull over Haigh.Haigh fled in his 2003 Honda Accord crossing into Onslow County via the Stella Bridge.
