On the last day of 2017 a new homicide investigation began for the Onslow County Sheriff's Office.A call came in around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, New Year's Eve, and a body was found off Thomas Humphrey Road in Jacksonville, said Maj. Chris Thomas with the OCSO.While Thomas confirmed the sheriff's office is investigating this death as a homicide, he said no one has been arrested as of late Sunday.No other information is being released at this time, Thomas said.More [...]
