A Jacksonville man has been charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child.Richard Daniel Mercado, 58, of Pineview Road was arrested by detectives of the Jacksonville Police Department’s Special Victims Unit without incident on Sept. 22 and placed in the Onslow County Jail under a $40,000 bond.Authorities were alerted of the alleged incident by the mother of the 3-year-old on Sept. 5, at which point an investigation was initiated and subsequently conducted by [...]
